SALT Report 2858 – The New York Department of Taxation and Finance announced that there would be no adjustment to the cents-per-gallon sales tax rates on qualified fuel for the period beginning September 1, 2013.
In addition, the Comptroller announced that there would be no adjustment to the State cents-per-gallon rate of $0.8 cents per gallon or $0.6 cents per gallon for B20 biodiesel. Similarly, the Metropolitan Commuter Transportation District cents-per-gallon rate of 3/4 of one cent per gallon or 6/10 of one cent per gallon for B20 biodiesel would not be increased.
